dangermousie loves it, ockoala loves it, and misterX’s on board too:
Plunging into a drama’s second act can often be like taking a step into the dark, not only for the viewers but even for those in front and behind the camera. But as Eun-Gi plunges into the abyss and begins melting the ice of that great little monster still wearing his frail mask, a little bit of sun starts shining on the dark side of the moon. Meaning what, you ask? That when this show is really inspired, it can fire on all cylinders like it’s nobody’s business. So let’s make that a habit, shall we? This is the way.
I rarely see them agree on anything when it comes to k-dramas :) yet they’re all sold on this risky second act/third act/second season/however you wanna label it Nice Guy has embarked on. If I were TPTB, I’d be encouraged. Episode 9 was only the first salvo, and they still have 11 episodes left to follow up on this challenge, but everyone agrees they deserve a chance to tell that story and that’s really all they asked for. Now the ball’s in their court.
