I wouldn’t expect video previews any time soon, but here’s the text preview for episode 13 to tide us over. PLEASE KEEP THE SPOILERS TAGS!
은기와 마루는 사랑을 처음 시작하는 연인들처럼 순수하게 그들의 감정에 충실하며 행복한 시간을 만끽한다. 재희와 민영은 마루에게 누명을 씌워 곤경에 빠뜨리려 하지만 마루 역시 그들에게 맞설 준비를 하는데… 마루에게 힘이 돼 주려 기억을 빨리 찾기 위해 노력하던 은기는 재희가 살고 있는 자신의 집을 찾아가고, 은기의 행동에서 예전과 달라진 것을 느낀 재희는 은기를 관찰하며 시험해보는데… 재희와의 대화중에 자꾸 기억의 조각들이 떠올라 고통스러워하던 은기는 결국 쓰러지고 만다.
Eun-Gi and Maru try to be true to their feelings like lovers for the first time in love and bask in happiness. Jae-Hee and Min-Young attempt to frame Maru and place him in hot water, but Maru’s ready to face them… Eun-Gi wants to help Maru by recovering her memory and decides to visit her old house at Jae-Hee’s. Jae-Hee realizes Eun-Gi’s not her old self and watches her carefully. Conversation with Jae-Hee triggers Eun-Gi’s memory in bits and pieces and they’re so painful that Eun-Gi collapses.
You know what’s heartbreaking about this preview? As if episode 12 wasn’t heartbreaking enough… We know from Eun-Gi’s visit to Dr Suk that she subconsciously fears recovering her memory, that her amnesia is a defense mechanism. But here in episode 13, she tries to face those fears head on, because she wants to help Maru (who has to battle Jae-Hee et al.), give him emotional support (“마루에게 힘이 돼 주려”), and believes recovering her memory would make him happy. So she decides to visit her old house, even though she’s clearly not comfortable with the person she knows is her stepmother… and it looks like it leads to those scenes they filmed at the hospital last night.
*sigh*
Well, at least the preview’s first sentence promises some happiness before crushing us over.
