Most of these replies are overdue, so they may sound a little out of context. (Also, thanks to everyone who just sent kind words about the blog. Apologies I can’t thank one by one in person, but your support & encouragement are much appreciated. :))
Some have also asked about how I feel about the recent episodes… Loved episode 12, that was the epitome of perfection for me, a pivotal episode that was beautifully executed at a critical juncture for the drama. My feelings for last week are more mixed—I liked episode 13 fine but episode 14 left me uneasy and unsure about the direction of the characters. If this week’s episodes can address some of that, great, otherwise, it’s something I’ll have to think about very carefully. And which will plague me for the remaining two weeks.

Hi, i was just wondering where are the long previews of innocent man? i tried looking for them but cant find them…
The long previews are paid content on the KBS website. You need to have an account on KBS, and an additional account elsewhere for the payment. They’re only available for Korean nationals or residents in Korea, which is why access has been limited.

Did he said regretting? (in ep. 12)
Yes. And it was much more powerful than any ILYs.

Hi, I want to thank you for all your wonderful insights, photos, long previews, bts and kbs info on NG. Really appreciate it since Hangul is not my first or second language. I am as emotionally affected and hooked as everyone is with this drama. I just wanted to ask you what you think KMR meant when he said ” I regret it Father. For the first time in my life, I regret.” Does he regret everything mean he did and said to SEG or is he regretting his decision to be in her life again this time?
I think he regrets “letting” her into his life both times, his inability to push her away, but what’s different this time around is that he knows how he feels about her, he knows he can’t walk away (unless she were to cut him off first), and he wants to live with the consequences of being in her life again, however high that price might be. He pushed her away on that beach because he felt that it was wrong to accept her love and that they wouldn’t have any chances. Nothing has changed really—he still feels it’s wrong and he doesn’t believe they have any chance at a future together. But he can’t deny her nor his feelings the 2nd time, not when she defied death to come back to him, not when he now knows he was waiting for her to come back, not when she needs him (and he needs her). So even if it’s a tragic 2nd chance at love, one that’s on borrowed time, he accepts that he wants to grab it and love her as much as he’s wanted to and she deserves to be while she’s still in his life. It’s both a confession of his sins and his love, for which he accepts he’ll do penance, but that he admitted those feelings, accepts those feelings, confessed those feelings to his late father, of all people, as if he was saying, she’s the one for me, she’s the one I wish you could have met… it’s a powerful, powerful declaration of love.

Hi!:-) I read you comment on DB regarding Joon-Ha and secretary Hyun because I had the same question like Heads: did they even ask Eun Gi if she wants Tae San back? Well I’m quite sure they care for Eun Gi but at the same time after watching ep. 11/12 I don’t know how to feel about both of them. Especially Joon-Ha (and what we know about him, his dad and Eun Gi’s mom - whatever happend there), even though he has the need to protect Eun Gi I don’t get him. What do you think? :-) Thank you!
I don’t think their concerns, affections for and loyalty towards Eun-Gi (and in Joon-Ha’s case, love) need be questioned. They genuinely mean well, they’re the good guys, and what was nice about eps. 11-12 was their ability to read Maru, which matters in their relationships with Eun-Gi. I don’t think they really get him (does anybody get him anyway, other than Eun-Gi…) but they’re gaining some insight and that was nice to see. But unlike Maru who doesn’t share their history with the company or the family, protecting her rightful place, her inheritance is an essential part of their loyalty towards Eun-Gi, and because she’s in such a vulnerable position at the moment, they can’t afford to think about what she really wants, when she just might lose everything her father left her. Any question (‘do I really want Taesan, what does Taesan mean for me?’) will have to come from Eun-Gi herself.

Ahaha, did you notice that Eunki’s doctor in ep 12 is the same doctor as Maru’s teacher/doctor in ep 1?
He was set to return from the beginning actually—his character profile on the official website said he’d return to help with Eun-Gi’s recovery. (The only thing that’s changed is that he doesn’t know Eun-Gi’s fiancé is none other than Maru.) You don’t cast someone like Jo Sung-Ha for a one-off appearance anyway—both PD Kim Jin-Won and Song Joong-Ki, who worked with him in Romance Town and Sungkyunkwan Scandal respectively, made the requests in person.

elfenmarchen asked you:
Song Joong Ki was magnificent in episode 12. That one smile he shed while recalling EG and CC’s conversation will forever be ingrained in my memory. That one small smile, is the embodiment of a man in love it almost broke my heart with how genuine, sincere and pure it was. TT_TT Episode 12? PERFECTION. No words could have described it better. (And also, when EG kicked MY’s ass? Oh lord. I cheered.) Thank you always for the NG goodies! The next 7 days of waiting will be painful!
Remarkable how we all thought the same thing… I was following the live broadcasts on a couple of boards and the moment he smiled, everyone was all “OMG LOOK AT HIM HE SMILED!!!!!” “OMG A GENUINE SMILE!!!” “OMG HIS FIRST SMILE SINCE EPISODE 1!!!!!”. It’s not like he hasn’t smiled before, but this was such a rare, unadulterated, pure moment of small pleasure and happiness for him that wasn’t tinged with sadness or shadows that everyone couldn’t help but say “LOOK!!!”.
